I was considering getting a watch some time in April 2015 and well, I did consider getting the Apple Watch to pair it up with my Iphone 5. But sadly, I realised that Singapore was not one of the countires to be included in the initial release of the Apple Watch. So guess which watch I got instead?

The price of the cheapest Apple Watch in Singapore costs about S$518 for the 38mm Aluminium case watch and S$598 for the 42mm Aluminium case watch. Well, for that price, I could get a brand new Iphone 6 by topping up a few dollars. For the others who have spare cash, they can even consider getting their hands on the Apple Watch Edition which features a 18 carat rose gold or yellow gold case retailing at a whooping S$22,500.

Next on usability. I have a pretty small wrist. From other reviews, once the novelty effect of the watch wears off, the chunkiness of the watch on the wrist does become an issue.
As always with Apple products, this is the first iteration of the Apple Watch and who knows, the second generation of the Apple Watch could be a refined version which looks totally different from the first.
In the meantime, I will stick to my trusty F-91W watch.
Check out the Apple Watch review from Techno Buffalo first before buying the watch.
For others, who have bought the watch already and would like to find New Ways to wear the watch, check out my post on third party Apple watch straps which allows you to change the look of your watch to suit any occasions without burning a hole in your pocket.
Still considering a smart watch for the "WOW" effect, check out the more affordable Pebble Watch from Amazon - Pebble Watch.
For the more practical people, do check out the F-91W watch from Amazon as well (it comes in pink too!)
