Origami Post it Pads - From Junk to Art

We scribble on them when we need to take down a quick and important note, put it up and once it has served its purpose, we dispose it. I guess that's the the fate of the post-it pad.

An ingenious accidental invention (check out its history here), post-it pad has become a daily staple in everyday office use. But instead of just disposing away the used post-it pads, could we do "something" to it?

Well, the people at SuckUK,  has managed the inject doses of creativity and fun into the post-it pad to bring you the Origami Post-it pad.

Origami Post-it Pad - Comes with instructions
The Origami Post-it pad functions like any other traditional post-it pads just that each packet of the pad contains instructions to guide you to fold your used post-it note into a 3D model.

Some shapes that you can fold into includes the frog, swan and flower. Each Origami Post-it pad comes with 100 notes and there are two variations to the pads being- The beginners instructions (more suitable for people with clumsy fingers like me) and the advanced instructions.

Another way to use the notes would be to write something on the note, maybe a "Let's have lunch at Mcdonalds" and folding it into a shape of a swan to your colleague. They can then unfold to read the note. I, for sure would be glad to receive a note like this.

Big Mac Anyone?

However, there is just one problem that I foresee while folding the Origami Post-it Pad and that is the adhesive side of the note. It could be a real hassle during origami folding to have the paper sticking to each other unless the adhesive has been generally worn-off from previous use.

In any case, it's really a cool, innovative and fun thing to have while working. Check this out over at Amazon - Origami Post-it Pad. This would make an interesting and fun gift to a friend or colleague.

Here's a little video of how the origami process look like using the actual notes.
